FAQs about the Christmas Show
Is participating in the Christmas show mandatory?
No, it is not. And, not every class participates. If you want to be in the Christmas show it is mandatory to attend dress rehearsal.

What does my dancer wear for the show?
Our Christmas Show costumes are more “put together” costumes. We try to pick costumes that you might already have (like Christmas pajamas) or something that would be cheap to purchase. We do have some items at the studio that dancers use that need to be returned after the show. This information is in the “Christmas Show Info” above.
Do I need to buy tickets?
Yes. If you need a seat you need a ticket. We do reserved seating and the only way to offer reserved seating is to provide tickets.
If a child does not need their own seat, then they do not need a ticket.
Where are the rehearsals?
The dress rehearsal and the show are both at Olean High School. Regular classes will be held the week of the christmas show, with the additional dress rehearsal on Friday, and the show on Saturday.
Will this be live-streamed?
Yes, all of our recitals are live-streamed on Youtube.
What is dress rehearsal like?
Dress rehearsal begins sharply at 5:30pm. Dancers will go back to their dressing rooms and parents can stay with them backstage. We will run finale twice, and then run the order of the show once. On the night of dress rehearsal, when the performer’s last dance is over you are free to leave.
The night of the recital all dancers are to stay backstage for the length of the show and bow in the finale. This excludes our twinkle stars and rising stars classes.
